Application procedure
To apply for the Nanyang PhD in Business programme, you will need to fill in the online application form.
You will also need to submit the application package by mail.
Do follow the instructions exactly to ensure that your application is complete.
Online application
Fill in the online application form.
Please note down the application number as you fill in the form. You will need this number for future enquiries or updates.
When you have completed the online application, print a copy of the completed form. This printout is to be included in the application package (see below).
Application package
The application package consists of 6 parts, and should be mailed to the address given at the end of this section.
Please include the following in the application package:
1. A printout of the completed online application form (see above section)
2. Certified copies of degree certificates
3
. Statement of objectives
Your statement of objectives should be about 1-2 pages long, and should include the following:
- Purpose and objective
- Significant accomplishments and achievements
- Your strengths and weaknesses in your chosen specialisation area
- GRE: 0291
- GMAT: V24-ZV-92
- TOEFL: 8521

For confidentiality, the referees must sign across the seal of their envelopes. The referee may include an additional sheet of paper (preferably with the referee's school letterhead).
If the applicant has been away from an academic environment for a significant period, non-academic references may be considered. However, we encourage you to seek out referees who can comment on qualities relevant to academic pursuits, particularly research.
- Your application must be made on the forms we have provided.
- All academic documents not in English must be accompanied by official English translations. The translated documents must bear an original ink signature and seal.
- Please submit only one set of application.
- Please ensure that your application is self-contained with all the above documents in one package. We do not accept any faxes of applications and supporting documents.
- Late applications may not be accepted, and incomplete applications will be rejected.
- There is no application fee.

What to expect next
If your application is successful, you will receive the admission letter between April and May, along with an acceptance form and application for the student pass.
You are required to return the acceptance form within two weeks of receiving the admission letter. You must complete the registration formalities and report to the School by end July.
