Final oral examination
The final oral examination is arranged only after examiners have reviewed the amended dissertation and deemed it satisfactory.
The panel members of the final oral examination will test the student on the subject matter of the dissertation and the set of questions and comments posed by examiners. The Final Oral Examination Panel comprises of:
- Director (Research & PhD Programme) or Head of Division as Chairperson
- Internal examiner
- A nominated member from the School
The panel will forward a report to the Board of Graduate Studies to determine the student’s examination results before the doctorate degree is conferred to the student.
